Demand great work. We do.

Remote-location specialists in facilities services

Established in 2010, Defense Base Services Inc. (DBSI) delivers high-caliber facilities engineering, operations/maintenance, and project-management services to federal customers at sites around the globe. We specialize in remote, island sites.

DBSI has an in-depth understanding of operating in isolated locations and a long record of successful risk mitigation in adverse conditions. This experience allows us to effectively manage complex projects through surge periods, mission growth, mission-plat forming, and downrange exercises. It also grants us the ability to face challenges effectively while maintaining the highest quality of work and often cutting costs for the government.

DBSI gives you the agility of a small business and the resources of large corporation. As a subsidiary of an Alaska Native corporation, DBSI can leverage the capabilities of our multi-specialized parent corporation – and its multiple subsidiaries – that has been serving the federal government since 1972.

Quality control

DBSI is dedicated to giving you the highest-quality services throughout the life of your project. A highly experienced quality-control manager (QCM) will be assigned to your project and will provide supervision and inspection support for daily operations.

The QCM will interact with government agencies, customers, contractors, vendors, and corporate staff members and develop, implement, and maintain the Quality-Control Plan, which will be tailored to the contract and encompass all facets of operations. He or she will inspect both completed work and work-in-progress to ensure DBSI always meets or exceeds expectations.
