At Chugach Government Solutions (CGS), building community is woven into the fabric of how we do business. So, while Alaska is our home, there are unique communities and project sites all over the world that have become our home away from home.

MacDill Air Force Base is one such location where we were privileged to work on their civil engineering base operations support contracts from 1999-2011. We’re excited to share that the 6th Air Refueling Wing selected our subsidiary, Chugach Logistics & Facility Services JV, LLC (CLFSJV) to support their requirements for the civil engineering functions at MacDill AFB, our home away from home.

Scott Davis, CGS President, shared, “When I started at Chugach over 23 years ago it was at MacDill AFB; so, it’s particularly rewarding to be leading CGS during our return to a community that had such an impactful role in my development as a leader.” Davis continued, “MacDill has an incredibly talented workforce with a rich depth of knowledge and experience. We’re excited to be reuniting with many old friends, and meeting new ones as we work through our transition.”

Jeffrey McBride, CLFSJV General Manager, added, “We’ve also experienced a lot of technology and process growth since we’ve been at MacDill AFB. We’re excited to bring our award-winning asset management program, Chugach Asset Management Program (ChAMP), and our work management system, Chugach Enterprise Management System (CEMS) to MacDill working closely with the existing team to create cost-saving efficiencies at the site.”
