Chugach companies operate in major cities and isolated, hard-to-reach sites throughout the United States and around the world. Click a site on the map above for a brief description of the work we perform there.
Despite the weather forecast that called for 30-40 knots of wind with heavy rain, and all the parts and pieces of a very complex event, the whole evolution went off like clockwork! When we held our safety brief with the crane operator, we discussed the weather and his max wind operating perimeters. We were close but agreed we would proceed. All of the prep worked paid off as the antenna was removed without incident.
I just want to express my appreciation for the hard work in getting everything lined up and for execution of the work onboard. This was a high visibility effort and its successful completion reflect well on each of you and Chugach! I especially wish to thank folks who made this happen in the background!
Your team that came by here yesterday was some of the best support we have gotten on board this ship. They really went above and beyond and helped troubleshoot and train our sailors on a multitude of [technical] issues that have been outstanding.
The Chugach technician stepped in with minimal required supervision, completed tasks efficiently, was professional in both his presentation and communication, on time and ambitious. He seamlessly fit in with the team, communicated well with customers and other team members. His value to our support efforts here should be recognized and was greatly appreciated.
