Reston, Va. – Nova Space Solutions (NSS), a Joint Venture between Chugach Government Solutions (CGS) and Amentum (NYSE: AMTM) and, has been awarded NASA’s Consolidated Operations, Services, and Maintenance Infrastructure Contract (COSMIC) at Stennis Space Center (SSC) and Michoud Assembly Facility (MAF). This joint effort underscores a shared commitment to delivering comprehensive facility operations, engineering, and infrastructure support to advance NASA’s mission.
With a total contract value of $822.7 million, the COSMIC contract will begin operations in July 2025 and extend over eight years. Under this contract, Nova Space Solutions will deliver essential facility management services, contract oversight, logistics, safety and environmental compliance, engineering and manufacturing support, and infrastructure maintenance. The NSS team will leverage the combined expertise of Amentum and Chugach to ensure mission-critical systems operate efficiently and reliably to support NASA’s space exploration goals.

The COSMIC contract will see the NSS team implementing advanced solutions, including Intelligent Asset Management, digital engineering tools, and data-driven analytics to modernize NASA’s infrastructure. By integrating state-of-the-art technologies and sustainable practices, NSS aims to ensure NASA’s facilities remain at the forefront of space exploration and technology development.
